The OIM Periodic Competency Enhancement Program (OPCEP) is designed to maintain and enhance the competency of Offshore Installation Managers (OIMs) through periodic assessments and best practice sharing. This program ensures OIMs remain up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emergency response procedures.

This assesses the OIM’s ability to manage complex operations that occur less frequently.

The training includes a minimum of two emergency scenario simulations per delegate, with each delegate role-playing as the On-Scene Commander (OSC) in at least two scenarios. Successful completion of the training and assessments leads to a recognized certification
